Swiss-Trac, the High-Performance Wheelchair Tractor

The Swiss-Trac gives adult and child wheelchair users greater mobility and independence in their everyday life.
The electric add-on drive can be attached to your wheelchair in seconds, instantly increasing your range by a significant amount: you can travel up to 30 km independently and overcome ledges and other obstacles without risk of tipping. The Swiss-Trac masters inclines and uneven terrain effortlessly, even with limited gripping function or poor arm strength.

The Swiss-Trac is tested and approved by the German Technical Inspection Association (TÜV) according to EN 12184
Declaration of conformity according to MDR (EU) 2017/745
German aid number (Hilfsmittelnummer in HMV): 18.99.04.0020

I'm so happy that this tractor exists. My life would be much more difficult without it.

Who is the Swiss-Trac for?

The Swiss-Trac is for all wheelchair users who are able to move their wheelchairs a little by themselves. Once attached to the wheelchair, you can control the Swiss-Trac with very little effort, which is why it is suitable not only for paraplegics but also for quadriplegics and hemiplegics. The controls are designed so that you can independently attach and detach, drive, steer and brake the Swiss-Trac – even with limited gripping function. A test drive will help clarify your needs.

Compatible Wheelchairs

The bracket for the Swiss-Trac can be fitted onto most commonly used manual wheelchairs with rigid or folding frames. On folding wheelchairs, the bracket can be removed quickly and easily without tools.

Individual Adaptation

A number of control aids are available for the Swiss-Trac: the driving assistance stabilises the combination in the driving position and thus provides relief for your shoulders. For quadriplegics, a special gas stick and other accessories are available for easy operation.
