Do I need a special charger when travelling?
The mains voltage, usually 240 volts in Europe, varies from country to country (see overview of voltages by country). The latest Swiss-Trac charger support a mains voltage of 100-240 volts and, with the appropriate mains adapter, can be used worldwide.
Earlier Swiss-Trac chargers support a voltage of 230 volts (±10 %) and therefore cannot be used in, for example, North America.
Always follow the instructions on your charger and ask your specialist dealer about a travel charger with a suitable voltage.
