Can I take the Swiss-Trac on a plane?

The Swiss-Trac and the dry batteries it contains meet current airline safety regulations (IATA/ICAO Special Provision A67). As an aid for your wheelchair, the airlines are obliged to transport the wheelchair tractor in the cargo hold free of charge.
Contact the airline in advance and send the Swiss-Trac battery confirmation.

Use the transport banner, available separately, to protect your Swiss-Trac and check whether your Swiss-Trac charger will work in the destination country. See the flight travel leaflet for more information on travel preparations and flights.
